Charitable Organizations

Swim Across America

In over three decades, Swim Across America has granted nearly $100 million dollars that have led to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, gene therapy, personalized medicine, and patient programs. Their scientific advisory committee is renowned cancer MDs and PHDs with decades of experience in cancer research and clinical trials. They help select projects and researchers who are the pioneers to curing cancer.

Urgent Care Foundation

The Urgent Care Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity, and is the singular, nationally-recognized entity devoted to the support of education, research and awareness of urgent care. The Foundation is affiliated with the Urgent Care Association (UCA). The Urgent Care Foundation receives, administers and disburses funds for clinical and health services research, educational development and humanitarian healthcare efforts directly related to urgent care medicine.

COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund

The COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund supports healthcare workers and essential staff, local small businesses, displaced hourly workers and families, youth and vulnerable New Yorkers. Some of the milestones the fund has accomplished includes 170,000 nutritious delivered to healthcare workers and direct one time emergency relief payments to 20,000 immigrant New York City families and 100,000 restaurants.

Susan G. Komen

In 1980, Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became the Susan G. Komen® organization and the beginning of a global movement. What was started with $200 and a shoebox full of potential donor names has now grown into the world’s largest nonprofit source of funding for the fight against breast cancer. To date, they’ve invested more than $3.3 billion in groundbreaking research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 60 countries. Their efforts helped reduce deaths from breast cancer by 40 percent between 1989-2016 and they won’t stop until their promise is fulfilled.

CIDA

CIDA is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and their families. Their primary missions are to increase inclusion opportunities and to strengthen the capacities of individuals with disabilities. To achieve these goals, CIDA provides family support and inclusive community programs by cultivating workforce development and non-profit based cooperative projects. CIDA also collaborates with local partners and social service organizations, and uses innovative approaches for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities.

St. Jude Children’s Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation

The Foundation’s mission is to reduce burnout of health care professionals and safeguard their well-being and job satisfaction. We envision a world where seeking mental health services is universally viewed as a sign of strength for health care professionals.
